Vote “No” for Women Over Men in the Church

LOL! I’m two ranks below you. I don’t see any specific teaching that says God will punish women for teaching or preaching to men. However, if they are violating 1Tim. 2:11-15; 1 Cor. 14:34-35, and the principles of 1 Cor. 11:1-16, then God will determine the consequences. From my observation, women’s leadership over men has resulted in weak doctrine and thus an adulterated gospel and shallow Bible teaching, though not in every case. I believe the male’s headship in the home (Eph. 5:23) is God’s pattern set forth for the church. Our roles are different (thank God males can’t have babies) but equally important. Although the woman’s role is subordinate to the man’s in the household, they are equal in the bed (1 Cor. 7:4-5). But, they are never equal in the church (1 Cor. 14:34-35). Family and church problems are inevitable when God’s Word is not faithfully followed. It’s unfortunate that the issue itself is a problem in the church, but we can pray for God to guide us to line with His Word.

Blessings!
