The John MacArthur videos serve as an introduction to Lesson 1 of the Truth Project (TP) entitled, “What is Truth!” The MacArthur videos help us see the devastating effects of pragmatism and worldliness in the church during the 19th and 20th Century. The emergent church is the 20th-century “offspring” of those ideologies which have forsaken absolute truth for relativism. Lesson 1 of the Truth Project will present truth as ultimate reality rooted in Jesus Christ. It will also provide excellent biblically based apologetic perspectives.
