A dear sister asked me about the future judgment of the nation of Israel. I gave her the following answer:
There are two judgments for the Jews:
1. The Great Tribulation
(Matt. 24:21), also called Jacob's trouble (Jer. 30:7). This judgment on earth will be so severe on the Jews because of the cruelty of the antichrist that it will move them to call upon their Messiah (Jesus, their Lord) for deliverance. As promised, Jesus will then, and only then, return (Second Coming) in response to their acceptance of Him. Jesus had told the Jews,
"See! Your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!" (Luke 13:35).
2. All Jews will be glad to be rescued from the antichrist by the Messiah, but not all of them will be committed to Him by saving faith. E.g., all Israelis who were delivered out of Egypt were not saved (1 Cor.
10:1-11). So, after the tribulation, God will also judge the Jews as a nation on earth in a wilderness (see Ezek. 20:33-38), purging the rebels from the nation.
Then, all saved Jews and all saved Gentiles (judged separately on earth [Matt. 25:31-46]) will enter the millennium. Thus, only saved Jews and Gentiles will enter the millennium in their mortal bodies but eventually will be "changed" at its conclusion (1 Cor. 15:50-54).
This May raise more questions, but whatever the answers are, it'll be important to stay mindful that the saved people in the millennium will never become unsaved.
