Strong Delusions

A text from a friend:

“Did you see the LBGTQ on TV today, celebrating “GAY PRIDE” week? A guy out at the event said,” this is so wonderful, we can be out here & feel free & know we are perfect just as we are!!” That is insane. To purposely go against God, & to go against what is natural, is really hard for me to accept. Actually I can not accept it.”

My reply:

It’s a confirmation of Romans 1:26-28. Since they reject the truth about God (His power, holiness, etc.), He judges then by delusions

(2 Thessalonians 3:10-12). They don’t realize that, unless the Lord open their eyes to the truth about Himself, resulting in repentance, they are doomed. They don’t realize that it’s best to experience God’s love, grace, and mercy which will change them rather than remain deluded on the road to destruction (Philippians 3:18-19). Unfortunately, the church-at-large isn’t any help (google “first gentleman”). It allows the world to define it and tell it what to do. The Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20) is oblivious to many professing Christians and churches. But, as it says in Scripture, “Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, ‘The Lord knows those who are His,’ and, ‘Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness”‘

(2 Timothy 2:19). Therefore, we must stand so the world can witness the light of the true God in us (Matt. 5:16).

Blessings!
