A response to a text I received portraying a dog affected by human hysteria. My response: “Well, Some humans are smarter than animals. But, nowadays many humans don’t see a distinction between themselves and animals. Bestiality is now a normal practice among some folk, professional and nonprofessional, the informed and uninformed. In 2004, the state of Missouri permitted a man to marry his horse. The practice with other animals, including birds, have spread. COVID-19, then, is a loud divine warning. God is saying today what He said about Israel in Jeremiah’s day: “But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone. Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the Lord our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest. Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withheld good things from you” (Jeremiah 5:23-25).
So, God is clearly speaking by His Word and by His creation.
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.” (Rom. 1:18-20).
His human creatures need to take heed.
