PRAISES DURING THE BATTLE

Praises During the Battle

Since June 16, 1968, the day I surrendered my sinful life to Christ, I have felt the strong intensity of spiritual battles.

So I’m well aware that the spiritual war with the world, the flesh, and the devil is intense and it’s objective is to ruin us in every way. But let’s keep fighting the good fight with “the weapons of our warfare (which) are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). We can win our spiritual battles with the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Let’s allow our steps to be ordered by the Lord. Even if we fall in defeat to one battle, the Lord says you “shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him (you & me) with his hand” (Psalm 37:23-24). But we don’t count on falling from fellowship with the Lord. We strive by faith and in hope of victory. As God’s Word says, “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:57).

So, give God shouts of praises even before the battle is over.

Blessings!
