While many believe America is post-Christian, it is also true that there is a majority of US citizens, believers and unbelievers, who are socially conservative. They include biblically minded Christians and traditionally-minded nonChristians. Both are strongly pro-American. However, the secular news media, socialist professors, and revisionist historians want us to believe that a majority of Americans are atheistic, leftist, and liberal. Their propaganda is working because they control historic educational institutions (including some Christian institutions), most of the press, healthcare (mental and physical), entertainment, and even have a growing stronghold on our military. Thankfully, the American “remnant” is currently in the majority, and thus God is being very patient with our country. Christian Americans desperately heed to take heed of His warnings in Revelation chapters 2 & 3. As I think about the holy Lord, I realize that He doesn’t owe any country (including Israel) nor citizen anything. We deserve another global flood, fire, and brimstone falling upon us, being given over to a reprobate mind, etc. But thankfully His love moves Him to continually extend His gracious and merciful hand toward us, just as He did for Israel (Rom. 10:21). We owe every bit of our very lives to God. My heart moves me to say, “Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!” (Psalm 107:8 NKJV).
