My View of History

Thanks very much for all the comments, my brothers. I highly respect your viewpoints.

I don't intend the following to be a refutation of any previous comments.

It's my view of history.

True history, regardless of who or what it is about, should be the norm and rationale for teaching it. CRT, 1619 Project, and other false accounts of African American history are simply tools of brainwashing that suppress the truth. There are blacks, young and old, who are shocked and even offended by the lies they were taught about African American history. True history, biblically speaking, is designed to give Christ's followers hope (Romans 15:4), to warn us (1 Cor. 10:6), and to instruct us about the past so that we may wisely chart out the direction of our future (1 Cor. 10:11), leaving it to the Lord to "red mark" any flaws in our plans and lead us forward by the Holy Spirit (John 16:13-15).

False Black "history" can only lead us astray which has been advanced for a long time by both blacks and whites. The optimism of Fredrick Douglass is helpful: "I prefer to be true to myself, even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others, rather than to be false, and to incur my own abhorrence." The truth hurts, but it can also heal and liberate the mind from falsehood - "...If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:31b-32).

Blessings! 🙏🏾❤️
