As I think about being a veteran in the current American social climate, I keep reminding myself that I didn’t serve to defend attitudes and movements that are antithetical to American ideals rooted in the Bible and clearly expressed in the principles of the US Constitution. I don’t believe this country as a whole has abandoned those ideals, but enough legitimate citizens have that our country, as we know it and believe what it should be, is rapidly diminishing. “In God, We Trust” and “One Nation Under God” are meaningless confessions, thanks to the anti-American libertines, leftists, traitors, and cowards in the government, the media, high tech companies, on the university campuses, and in the church. I didn’t serve my country to protect and support their ideologies. I’m gained on evangelizing them because Christ died for their sins too. And, if it comes to hand-to-hand combat (i.e., civil war), I hope they know Christ as Savior.
