"Conservative," "liberal," "left," and "right" (whether black, white, Hispanic, or Asian) are all rooted in various ideologies. There are conservative homosexuals and liberal evangelical Christians. The biblical worldview has gone into extinction for most of them because it doesn't work for the elitist mind and narrative. It's mythical, mysterious, impractical, and fosters the "opiate of the people." On the other hand, objective truth (the reality, ways, and works of God) is rejected because Satan's lie, "you shall be like God," is far more believable. That’s why I stay mindful of Jesus' words regarding the truth: "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth" (John 17:17-19). When a liar tells the truth (sounds like an oxymoron), it's always with an ulterior motive. Most politicians, preachers, educators, business folks, etc. are like that. May God help me to not be like that, especially when it’s so tempting to cave in (1 Corinthians 10:13).
