Here’s are promises from God that’s so clear and yet so profound with multiple truths that would take a lifetime to discover and decipher:
“Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With a long life I will satisfy him And let him see My salvation” (Psalm 91:14-16).
What is the source of such words of assurance? The Bible.
Who spoke those words of assurance? God.
Why should I believe those words? Because God the Son said, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30).
And for those who really know His name (Jesus), He says, “He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name” (Revelation 3:12). Treasure those promises in your heart.
