Justice According to God

The word "justice" is misunderstood, overused, and misapplied. Biblically, it means "righteousness," "straight," and "rigid." It's first use in Scripture is in Gen. 6:9, regarding Noah, and Gen. 18:19, regarding Abraham, who acknowledged God's justice (Gen. 18:25). Moses also acknowledged God's justice (Deut. 32:4). Thus, God's judgment is perfectly fair (Rom. 2:4-11).

All of us deserve His judgment of condemnation (Rom. 3:19, 23). This is where both sides of the Social Justice issue clearly go wrong. They load the word "justice" with their own meaning, emphasize (overuse) it to brainwash people, and misapply it to condemn those they consider the "oppressors" and commend themselves as

the "oppressed." Neither side acknowledges that they deserve God's justice of condemnation nor does either side acknowledge God's grace (giving undeserved salvation only to believers in Christ) and mercy (withholding from believers deserved condemnation in hell). That's also why millions of people all over the world misunderstand Christmas. Only God accurately defines justice and demonstrates it to justify Himself (Rom. 3:21-26). May God help us to stay in and obey His word to remain liberated from deception (John 8:31-32).

Blessings!
