Impressive Words About Jesus Are Meaningless Without Genuine Faith in Him

In a discussion about Billy Graham’s statement that even people who don’t know Jesus can be saved, I shared my view about it with some brothers:

“Great dialogue brothers, and I agree with what both of you expressed. However, as we go forth, we go forth with biblical truth and boldly proclaim it. I highly respected Dr. Graham and am convinced that God greatly used him to impact our world with the gospel. None of us are flawless, as Dr. Graham wasn't, but when it comes to recognizing biblical truth, we must submit to it and never compromise, even if people we highly respect do compromise.

If we're not careful, we could assume people (Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Muslims, all Catholics, Christian Science, Hindus, etc.) who say the correct things about Jesus are saved. They even use scriptures to support their heresy. News flash! Satan used scriptures (Matt. 4:5-6). They even have a "form of godliness" (2Tim. 3:5) and call Jesus "Lord"

(Matt. 7:22-23). Jesus settled it when He said, "This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent" (John 6:29) and, " I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins" (John 8:24). In the following video, listen to the Muslim say things about Jesus that, on the surface, sounds impressive, but notice how Voddie Baucham exposes his false doctrine by which no man can be saved:

Your thoughts?

Blessings!
