God’s Wisdom Day by Day

Just a Thought:

God’s Wisdom Day by Day.

Psalm 91:12 says, “So teach us to number our days, That we may present to You a heart of wisdom.” That is, trusting God to daily fill our hearts with His wisdom.

That wisdom helps us see the significance of acknowledging God as we live one day at a time. After all, it is He who determines the amount of our days. His Word says, “Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them” (Psalm 139:16). That’s why we live one day at a time, loving, thanking, and praising Him for each day because we don’t know when our last day will be. God has given to us over 70 strength to live on toward 80. Psalm 90:10 says, “As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years, Or if due to strength, eighty years…For soon it is gone and we fly away.” The idea seems to mean, “flying upward,” toward the farthest heaven where our Creator resides. In the mean time, let’s pursue wisdom each day by fearing the Lord (Proverbs 1:7) and gaining more understanding about Him and His wonderful deeds, especially providing salvation for us through His Son, Jesus Christ. Therefore, “How blessed is the man who finds wisdom (Christ) And the man who gains understanding (for practical righteous living).” That’s in Proverbs 3:13. Blessings!
