Good morning my brothers, God is good all the time in spite of us.
His grace reminds me that I don't deserve to be saved even though I am. Praise His name! 🙌🏾
His mercy reminds me that I deserve hell but will never experience it. Glory to His name! 🙌🏾
God demonstrated His love toward me in that while I was yet an unsaved sinner, Christ died for me (Romans 5:8).
Hallelujah! Those words never cease to amaze me. The following are climactic:
"Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation" (Romans 5:9-11). My challenging "job" is to get this message out so that all who hear it would understand it, believe it, and thereby be saved.
Let's do the "job" God gives us no matter where we are, what we're experiencing, or to whom God leads us to share the gospel message. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek" (or "Gentile") - Romans 1:16.
