God's Choice Before The Creation

Of all the wonderful things God was doing before the creation, it doesn't cease to amaze me that He predestined (determined beforehand) believers (you & me) and chose us for salvation. If I'm asked how I know that since I nor anyone else existed before the creation, I would say "God told me" (Rom. 8:29; Eph. 1:3-5). An atheist may accuse me (or us) of being delusional and/or euphoric. But, that "shoe" goes on the other foot because disbelieving in truth (God) is preferring to believe in unreality (mythology or virtual reality). God is truly real and cannot in any way be associated with falsehood (Rom. 3:4; Titus 1:2). He is so gracious that He has even chosen to save some atheists like C. S. Lewis, D. James Kennedy, Josh McDowell, and Allister McGrath to name a few (were you one?) He determined to save them, you, and me (all sinners) before the creation. Why? Because of His grace and mercy and ultimately for His glory. The psalmist David wrote, "When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; what is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? (Psalm 8:3-4).

Being an eternal Person, God has always been mindful of those He predestined and chose for salvation. Give Him praise for being mindful of you before the creation.

Blessings!

PS - He's never too busy for you.
