My pastor friend in Georgia said, “True, there is plenty of evidence that Trump was an immoral playboy. But, there is none since he’s been President. However, there is plenty of evidence that the Democrats continue to push every immoral issue they can think of. I have found that when people want to vote Democrat, they continue to bring up Trump’s past. If God continued to hold our past against us, which one of us could stand before His people and declare His Holy Word. My (our) past would disqualify me. So I thank Him that it’s gone, but that doesn’t mean I don’t remember it. Thank you Lord as King David said, ‘…don’t let me fall in the hands of man.’ Man keeps records and won’t let you live it down.
”My reply: “Neither would I qualify, but Colossians 2:13-14 assures us that our slate is clean. Lost folks, including politicians and some preachers, don’t understand that. The best they can do is show their bias by justifying those they favor in high places who commit crimes and immorality. Let’s be honest. The Democrats vehemently attack Republicans (innocent or not) with hopes of destroying their careers and livelihood, but they justify immoral and unethical people like Bill and Hilary Clinton and abortion and homosexual advocate Barack Obama. All three seem to have the ‘gift’ of lying. Yet they are very popular and, if allowed by the constitution, would probably get re-elected. Donald Trump is no guardian angel, but neither is he from the pits of hell. If he were, the Democrats would give him unanimous support. Why? Because that’s where leftist, liberal, socialist, and communist ideas are bred (James 3:6, 14-15), and Donald Trump would be just like them. It wouldn’t matter that he was a playboy. I believe he is the best God currently has for America. Thank God for blessing him to be our president in spite of his past, and thank God for blessing us preachers in spite of our past. My 2 cents.”
