I’m more inclined to believe God allowed COVID-19 to come, just like He allowed sin to come into existence.
All diseases, therefore, have resulted from original sin, including COVID-19. God controls it and can use it to jerk the human conscience to awaken it to acknowledge Him, His power, and His holiness. But many people are too hardened and will choose a hopeless life and eventually die without hope. All that’s left for them is hell. If COVID-19 causes a believer to die, he will go to heaven. But, it’s not quite that cut and dry for unbelievers. By the sacrifice of Christ for the sin of all mankind, those who believe in Him are saved from perishing in hell (John 3:16-18). The main cause of death is sin, not COVID-19 (Rom. 5:12). Jesus came to give believers life – “The thief (most likely a false prophet) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life (forgiveness and deliverance from the condemnation of sin) and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep” (John 10:10-11). Do you have abundant life?
