DEFEATING ATTACKS AGAINST YOUR MIND

First, keep God in your thoughts: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength” (Isaiah 26:3-4).

Second, Acknowledge and use your powerful spiritual weapons: “(for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled” (2 Corinthians 10:4-6). Warren Wiersbe enumerated the weapons as “prayer, the Word of Gods, love, (and) the power of the Spirit.” As believers, we have those powerful weapons as well as the whole armor of God. Claim your victory over those satanic attacks against your mind, renounce them, and boldly walk by faith.

Third, acknowledge and use the whole armor of God: “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” (Ephesians 6:14-18).

There’s an abundance of more passages filled with promises that assure us as believers that God will help us through our spiritual battles (Isaiah 41:10). Blessings!
