Come Off the “Plantation,” Acknowledge Your Liberty, and Help

Here is my response to the following video sent to me by a dear brother:

Regarding the video, the so-called Anti-fascist has the mentality of a modern-day slave master who hates conservative blacks because he can't keep them on the “plantation.” They're too successful! That's the common mindset of all white bleeding heart liberals whose ideology, ironically, many blacks embrace with hopes of gaining economically, socially, politically, etc., and yet merely fulfilling the role of an advanced "house nigger." Jesse Peters' questions were gleaned from true black history regarding successful blacks, clearly proving that whites (liberals or conservatives) are not needed for blacks to be successful. See Jason Riley's book, "Please Stop Helping Us."

Why? Because God is our help, especially believers in Christ Jesus, and He has done and is doing great things for us. Successful black liberals need to acknowledge that and mentally come off the "plantation." They also, if they are true believers, need to evangelize and disciple lost blacks (not to exclude lost whites), help them get a GOOD education, a good job, encourage them to be a godly family members (especially a godly husband and father), and be a blessing to the community, the state, and the country. The bottom line, is don't think as a victim but as a victor. As the Apostle Paul wrote, "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord" (1 Cor. 15:57-58). May God help us all have that attitude 🙏🏾.

He also sent this 2nd video:

My response:

That young lady obviously doesn't know what a true Christian is. My heart goes out to her and others like her. Arguing with such people isn't fruitful because it's like shining a flashlight in the faces of blind people. Their spiritual darkness is intense (Matt. 6:23). What they really need is spiritual illumination from God's word as given by the Holy Spirit.

See 2 Cor. 3:17-18: 4:3-7.

Blessings! 🙏🏾❤️
