Even today it’s a very controversial issue regarding New Testament believers keeping the Torah. Law-keeping teachers don’t always explain in detail what they he mean by keeping the Torah. Some Messianic Jews hold that Gentile believers should become Jewish, even requiring circumcision (like they did in Acts 15). Others say Messianic Jews should abandoned their Jewish customs altogether. Both are wrong in my view, which I base on Scripture. My view is clarified and expanded by reading good books and commentaries. “The Remnant of Israel” by Arnold Fruchtenbaum is one source that really helps. I appreciate any challenge the Law-advocates bring to my thinking, and I enjoy rebutting them with love and respect. I can disagree without demanding anyone to agree with me.
