A Sense of Humor


There’s nothing wrong with having a good sense of humor and telling jokes (jesting). However, jesting has its place. It’s best not to jest in the presence of someone immature and foolish or too serious minded. We have to be be discerning because foolishness may be in the person(s). Let’s follow Paul’s teaching: “there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse (obscene) jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks” (Ephesians 5:4). So, keep jesting clean and appropriate and enjoy having a

Cheerful heart:

“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones” (Proverbs 17:22). Blessings!
